Mark the end of summer with one of these local events. There’s a party for every personality!
1. Live Music at Universal CityWalk: Help Universal CityWalk celebrate their 20th Birthday! Come check out the FREE live entertainment at 5 Towers this Labor Day weekend Saturday, August 31st through Monday, September 2nd. Make sure to get there early and enjoy the pre-show entertainment. Need transportation? No need to worry, our hotel guests receive complimentary shuttle service to City Walk!
Saturday, August 31st: World of Dance known as the world’s largest urban dance competition, is bringing its talent to Universal City!
Sunday, September 1st: Gretchen Bonaduce and the Fatal 80s will be rocking out on the 5 Towers stage once again! The Fatal 80s are here to put on an awesome performance for everyone to enjoy.
2. A Night At The Oscars at the Hollywood Bowl: The thrilling experience of extraordinary movie music played live-to-picture on the Bowl’s big screen continues this year as we celebrate the legacy of music and films honored by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Sunday, September 1st at 7:30 pm. Keep in mind that we are located nearby the Ventura Shuttle Bus pick up!
3. The Foodie: The Los Angeles Taste offers two days of food and wine events. Start your weekend Friday at the Opening Night celebration, then nibble and learn your way through to Sunday, when the Labor Day Block Party takes over Paramount Pictures Studios. (click here for directions)
5. The Family: Stay in and celebrate at The Beverly Garland! All guests are invited to attend our Poolside BBQ on Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st from 12pm—7pm. Savor a burger, side, and soda or Chef Salad and soda ($15 Adults/$10 kids). Play in the pool, listen to a life DJ from 3-7pm and relax poolside for our Dive-In Movie at dusk.
